Leftovers

We're still eating meatloaf...  ;-)  But there IS a wonderful option - the freezer!

It's been a cold, overcast day here.  My day off.  And just the kind of weather to snuggle up to a cozy fire with a good book and the Goldens keeping my toes warm.  So, instead of battling the crazies in the stores to do my usual Christmas shopping, I've been goofing off.  Can't we do that, guilt free, every once in a while??  I think I'll do my shopping one night at around midnight or maybe all online this year.  What do you think?  How are you going to do YOUR shopping this year?

The a cappella chorus I direct and my quartet, Embrace, have a "gig" (singing engagement) tomorrow night.  That should prove FUN!  It's always fun to entertain and make people smile.
:-)

And I resume teaching "my kids" piano and voice tomorrow after my enjoyable long weekend.  Wonder what new songs they will learn this week?  I LOVE teaching music!  This current economy has made it difficult, but I thank God I can still do what I love and that my husband still has his job and that the Goldens still have food in their bowls and toys to entertain them.
