We're getting new neighbors after years and years and years of peaceful quiet and solitude (except for the couple of neighbors we have several acres over. We're not just getting 1 new neighbor... we're getting a bunch of new neighbors. :-( Our only hope is that they are decent people and don't have 68 family members moving in with them. You know what I mean.... time will tell. We're praying.
Right now it's all a BUNCH of noise with the machinery coming in to clear the forest across the road, well diggers equipment, electric company trucks and equipment, plumbing/septic workers, etc. The list goes on and on and so does the noise. The Goldens aren't used to it so they JUMP UP and run to the bay window to look out front and see who's here. That's rather cute. But the noise isn't. I hope they finish quickly, but there's been so much rain the last few months and loads of moisture is still in the ground. It's really too soft to do an awful lot, but they're trying mightily.
